How To Fix A Stuck Zipper In 2 Easy Steps!
I’d like to say this is only a problem my kids run into…
But I mess up my zippers more than I care to admit.
And fixing them was always the stuff of nightmares to me! I mean I’d sooner crawl out of my coat while listening to the seams pop, than I would stay fiddling with it in a hot house.
And I would get so fed up on my knees trying to coax the darn sides straight on one of my kids before they head off to school.
Luckily, most of the time we can all wiggle out of our coats, and I can fix the coat on the counter. There are quite a few different ways to fix a zipper. But I found this one on Oh My Creative’s blog., and I think I’ve liked it the best!
Step 1:
Coat the zipper in dish soap (the longer side of it), and make sure to get the teeth well and tug the zipper downwards.
Hopefully both ends will line up at that point!
Step 2:
Turn the jacket inside out and grab each side of the bottom of the zipper with both hands.
Tug the sides of the jacket down, adjusting to which side needs it more, until the zipper slides undone.
Wash any soap away and celebrate all your saved time.
Easy-peasy!
